29th March  2018: Maundy Thursday, also known as “Holy Thursday,” is the Thursday of Passion Week, one day before Good Friday (the Friday before Easter). Maundy Thursday is the name given to the day on which Jesus celebrated the Passover with His disciples, known as the Last Supper. M. C. Was Mrs. Anitha Pinto and today’s celebration consisted of main three parts.

On January 14th 2018 sunday was celebrated as confraternity sunday and also community day or family day for all the surathkal parishioners. The solmen mass was at 4.00pm with the main celebrant Rev. Fr.Rev.Fr.Paul Melwyn D' souza accompanied by surathkal vigar Rev.Fr.Paul Pinto and Rev.Fr. Lawrence D' Cunha.the liturgical rites were devotionally lead by the people with the M.c as Mrs.veena D' souza.

St Christopher Association of Surathkal arranged vehicles blessings at Surathkal ‘Sacred Heart Church’ school ground. This program had been held on 1st October on the occasion of their 22nd annual feast. Welcome had been deliverd by Mrs. Veeda Pireira president of the association.
