On 18th August 2018 at 5.00 P.M., The Sacred Heart Church, Surathkal celebrated “Konkani Fudar Divas” a festival to honour Konkani.
V.Rev. Fr. Paul Pinto the Parish Priest of Sacred Heart Church, Surathkal, presided over the cultural programme. Dr. Edward Nazareth, a well known doctor and Konkani writer was the chief guest.
Mr. Dony Suares, vice president of Parish council, gave a warm welcome to the guests. Mr. Bernard D’Souza, secretary of the Parish Council, Mrs. Asha Pinto, coordinator of the cultural committee and Mrs. Prafulla Lobo coordinator of the Central Small Christian comunity were present at the function. Mr. George Ligoury D’Souza compeered the function. Mr.Arsan Lobo proposed vote of thanks.
